We are committed to connecting travellers to destinations through on-demand local services, for that to happen we use data as part of the process. The policies describing what information we collect and how we use it are explicit in this document.

You can use our services to search, discover, book and pay for third-party physically-rendered services at predetermined destinations. When you share information with us, for example when creating and using an account on YouGoTo.com, we use that information to make our services even better, giving you more relevant results according to your profile, your preferences and the context of the usage you give to our applications.

Although on-demand services like ours rely on a lot of information, we take security and privacy matters very seriously.

Information we collect
- Information you give us

Most of our services require you to sign up for an account. When you do, we ask for personal information such as your name, email address, mobile phone number and credit card to store with your account. Your personal information is not publicly available to anyone by default but we may pass to our partners your name and contact in case of you making a booking. This is necessary so they can contact you regarding transportation, eventual last-minute changes or similar situations. Our partners cannot share this information with any third-parties nor use it themselves unless for the aforementioned situations. No one has access to your credit card information.

* Credit card information

TravelCentral24 does not store your credit card information anywhere in our servers, although Stripe, a third-party payments’ gateway associated company, does. This happens so we can verify your identity, process payments and to take out the necessity for inputing your card information every time you want to make a new reservation. We do not use your credit card information in any way or form other than to process the payments for which you make valid bookings. Stripe has enhanced data security practices in place and is transparent to our customers. Stripe Payments UK, Ltd. is authorised as an electronic money institution by the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority (reference number: 900461) to issue electronic money, enable cash placement and cash withdrawal services on payment accounts, execute payment transactions, make money remittances, and acquire payment transactions. Stripe has enhanced data security practices in place and is transparent to our customers. - Information we get from your use of our services

We collect information about the services you use on our platform and how you use them, like when you make a table reservation on a restaurant or search for places to visit and things to do.

* Device information

We collect device-specific information such as hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers as well as network-related information such as wi-fi networks. We may associate this information with your account.

* Log information

When using our services and content provided by us, we collect and store certain information in server logs. This includes, but is not limited to, details of how you used our services, search queries, browsed content, bookings made, IP address, device event information such as crashes, system activity, language and timestamps of your requests.

* Location information

When you use our services, we may collect and process information about your location. We use various technologies to determine location, including IP address, GPS and other sensors that may relay information of nearby devices.

* Local storage

We may collect and store information locally on your devices, using mechanisms such as browser web storage and application data caches.

* Cookies and similar technologies

Although we do not use cookies at this time, we may use such to further enhance our products and services in the future. Please note that associated third-parties, such as Facebook, Google and Stripe, use these technologies.

Information we obtain from the use of our services is treated as personal information and may be associated with your account.

How we use the information gathered

We are passionate about creating new immersive experiences and this is the main goal when we use information we acquire from the use of our services. We use this information to provide, improve, maintain and further develop our products and services.

We are able to deliver better services and content, tailored to you, and making contextually relevant suggestions, when understanding how you interact with our platform, what things you like and what you are interested in.

When we have location information, we can use it to tailor our services and suggestions, help you, among other things, finding local events, what to do nearby and checking-in to places and activities.

We may use parts of your information to inform strictly necessary partners about you, for example when you make a booking and someone needs to pick you up at your hotel.

TravelCentral24 processes information on our servers in different countries around the world and we may process your personal information on a server located outside of the country you live or you are using our services on.

Communicating with you

When you contact TravelCentral24, we keep a record of your communication to help tracking and solving any issues. We may use your email address to inform you about our services, such as policy updates, upcoming changes and marketing communications.

We require your consent to use any information in ways left out of the scope of this Privacy Policy.

Accessing and updating your personal information

When registering with our services, you have the possibility to access and update your personal information. If that information is wrong, or not up-to-date, we urge you to update it quickly.

Information you share

Some of our services allow for sharing information with other, such as social networks. Please remember that when you share information publicly it may be indexable by search engines and other third-parties. We do not share anything on your behalf or without your prior knowledge.

We do not share personal information with companies, organisations and individuals outside of TravelCentral24 unless one of the following circumstances occur:

* You give us your consent

We may share personal information with third-parties outside the scope of TravelCentral24 if we have your consent to do so. Consent is required through opt-in for the sharing of any sensitive information.

* For external processing

We may provide personal information to our affiliates, partners and other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us. These entities are required to treat the information with the same level of discretion as we do, in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other means of security and appropriate confidentiality resources.

* For legal reasons

We will share personal information with third-parties outside the scope of TravelCentral24 if we have good-faith belief that access and disclosure is necessary to meet applicable laws, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental requests. We will also share personal information in the case when necessary to enforce terms of service, investigation of potential violations, detect, prevent and address fraud, security or technical issues, protect harm to the rights and property or safety of TravelCentral24, our users or the general public as required or permitted by the law.

We may share non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners. For example, we may share information that reflect trends and patterns about the use of our services and destinations.

Information security

We do our best to implement the best security practices and protect our users from unauthorised access to information we hold. We encrypt most of our services with SSL; we review information collection, storage and processing practices; and we restrict access to personal information to need-to-know TravelCentral24 employees who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations.

Privacy Policy application and changes

This Privacy Policy applies to all TravelCentral24 products and services that do not have a separate privacy policy. At this moment this policy governs the products YouGoTo.com and BookNow and may change from time to time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted online, on this page.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to some of the services offered or rendered by third-parties that may be present on our platform and does not cover the information practices of other companies and organisations who integrate with our services, such as when you log in to our platform using Facebook.

Compliance and cooperation with regulatory authorities

We do our best to make sure our Privacy Policy is comprehensive and works in favour of our users. Shall we receive a formal written complaint, we will contact the person who made the complaint in order to resolve any issues. Should it not be possible, or an agreement not attainable directly with the person initiating the process, we will work with the appropriate regulatory bodies to resolve the situation.
